Beastwars Share Fourth Studio Album 'IV'
Pōneke heavy metal heroes Beastwars have lifted the lid on their highly-anticipated album IV after a three year hiatus following vocalist Matt Hyde’s treatment for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Now in remission, Hyde drew from his experience coming face-to-face with a life-threatening illness for Beastwars’ latest release. IV is eight tracks of convulsing, hypnotising metal, dripping with raw emotion and relentless riffage. Ace Hunt (Cortina, Reptilian Future Cops) met up with band members Matt Hyde and Nathan 'Nato' Hickey recently, and Hyde explained "Halfway through my treatment I realised we had to do another album, it was something to look forward to, something to hold on to". Try on Beastwars’ fourth studio album IV for size, and catch them this weekend and next for their nationwide album release tour…
