Tāmaki Makaurau's Him are taking their cool vocals and hot sax around the country this June in celebration of their debut LP Snakes At Night, due out this winter. Him, the project of sound / performance artist Jazmine Rose Phillips joined by Aaron Longville on saxophone and Saoirse Chapman on synth, have shared the gift of a lovely new single too, ‘These Girls’. Phillips perfectly describes the track as “moody, haunting, and spacious; asking the listener to explore their insides” – with understated saxophone powering away alongside Phillips’ vocals.
