Lineup For Death Ray Is Dead Fundraiser Announced
The jewel in Newtown's musical crown, Death Ray Records have sadly announced they're shutting up shop after six years of servicing the community with a kick ass selection of new and used records from throughout Aotearoa and beyond, along with a particularly awesome range of limited edition tees and tapes. The Wellington store's Boss Dude Apa Hutt is keeping an eye on the future – he's organising a special Death Ray Is Dead fundraising show toward a potential new venture, featuring Hex, Linen, Womb, The Nudge, Egovalve, Pvnisher and more acts to be announced, bringing the party over two stages at Moon 1 in late April. You can also show your support for the shop's next move by cruising along to their Record Store Day event this Saturday from 3pm, featuring Spectre Collective, Beatcomber and Linen. Scope out the details for both shows here...
