Better Oblivion Community Center Unveil Video 'Dylan Thomas'
The combined powers of US songwriters Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, working together under the creative umbrella of Better Oblivion Community Center, have shared a carefully crafted clip for their single ‘Dylan Thomas’. The playful visuals directed by Michelle Zauner aka Japanese Breakfast depict the two artists journeying into the ominous complex of their musical namesake where several odd occurrences take place, often involving VR headsets and other cornerstones of contemporary technology. Ominous lighting and red backgrounds make playful nods to the aesthetics of David Lynch’s classic TV series Twin Peaks. Bridgers and Oberst revealed the existence of their new joint project only last week with the surprise launch of BOCC's eponymous debut album, check out ‘Dylan Thomas’ below...
'Better Oblivion Community Centre' is out now via Dead Oceans.
