Vera Ellen Shares Two Track 'Yuppie Farm' EP
Wednesday 30th January, 2019 2:59PM
Los Angeles via Wellington songwriter Vera Ellen (Maple Syrup, Girl Friday) has dropped a perfectly formed two track package containing fresh tunes 'Yuppie Farm' and 'The Language of Flowers', hot on the heels of her October 2018 album Beat Yr Name. Both songs present contemplative reflections on everyday life – the dreamy A-side trades off lazy afternoon melodies and loping rhythms with Ellen’s confident and relaxed vocal presence, while the second song is a synth-infused, hook-packed ditty foregrounding the artist's free-floating singing skills.
