Superette Unveil Unreleased Demo 'Pretty Picture'
Auckland indie-pop crew Superette have unveiled a previously unreleased demo track titled 'Pretty Picture', to whip up excitement for the imminent re-issue of their landmark 1996 debut album Tiger. Formed in 1993 by members of Jean-Paul Sartre Experience and Fang - Ben Howe, Dave Mulcahy and Greta Anderson - the band's only long-player foisted radio hits 'Touch Me' and 'Saskatchewan' upon the flannel-loving mid-90s earholes of student radio listeners and Max TV viewers alike. The newly expanded deluxe version of Tiger is out this month on two hefty slabs of vinyl as well as era-appropriate compact disc via Flying Nun Records, and also includes Superette's first EP Rosepig along with a tantalising selection of freshly unearthed tunes from a never-released second album. Listen to 'Pretty Picture' here...
'Tiger' (Expanded Deluxe Edition) is out Friday 16th November via Flying Nun Records.
