Ounce Unleash Hypnotic Single 'Electric Eye' + Announce Album 'OZ Vol. I'
Auckland five-piece Ounce have unleashed a hypnotic new single ‘Electric Eye’ from their just-announced debut album OZ Vol. I. Drawing heavy inspiration from such powerhouses as Black Sabbath, Can, James Brown and Oh Sees along with spaghetti western soundtracks, Ounce have honed their own fuzzed-out, psychedelic sound since forming in 2017, tearing up stages at Whammyfest 2018 and Borderline Festival, and releasing the killer recent Satan II / Dead Mirror EP. The album is set to be unveiled in early 2019 through independent flag flyers 1:12 Records and will be available on vinyl, digital purchase and streaming platforms. You can catch the team of Kieran Ruffles, Antony Pike, Fi Browne, Callum Rooney, and Yves Yang playing in Whanganui and Wellington this December with details to be announced, buzz out to 'Electric Eye' here...
