Auckland "goth glam grunge psych" crew Shoddy have unveiled their debut collection With Nails And Glue following enigmatic recent single 'Party Bird Late Worm', which re-emerges here alongside new numbers 'Waiting For Antimatter' and the intriguingly titled 'Moth Stage'. Weighing in at a scant three tracks yet encompassing nearly 30 minutes of intoxicating tunes, Shoddy dig their painted nails deep into a swirling underworld of alchemical instrumentation, warped hooks and mystic vocals. Comprised of Witchy Dugdale aka Witchy on lead vocals and guitar, bassist Toby King, drummer Thomas Pembroke and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Pickstone, Shoddy launched their keenly anticipated EP alongside buds Blue Cheese and My Anatomy last night at Auckland's The Wine Cellar.
