The Audio Foundation's biennial Nowhere! Festival took over subterranean Auckland venues Whammy Bar, The Wine Cellar and Backroom on Friday for the second evening of their four-day celebration of out-there and experimental sounds. Stellar performances by returning Australian doom / drone duo Divide & Dissolve, eardrum-shattering Auckland rising stars Bib Kids, Wellington electronic adventurer Strange Stains, and Dunedin songwriting icon Francisca Griffin (Look Blue Go Purple) with her live group The Bus Shelter Boys were just the tip of the iceberg for the sonically diverse, multi-venue underground occasion.
