UK goth-rock godfather Peter Murphy of Bauhaus is currently gracing New Zealand with performances of the group’s 1980 debut album In The Flat Field in its entirety plus an encore of favourites, as part of his 40 Years of Bauhaus tour. Murphy’s fellow co-founder bassist David J is accompanying him as they play their band's most iconic tunes from a short but hugely impactful five year career, including timeless single ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ and four classic studio albums. Murphy and his ghoulish gang's local visit swoops into Christchurch's The Club tonight and wraps up on Saturday at Auckland's the Powerstation.
