Eyegum Collective Announces Welcome To Nowhere Festival
Wellington's Eyegum Music Collective have announced Welcome To Nowhere, the successor to their annual Gathering In The Forest festival. The lineup has yet to be revealed for "the two full days of music, art, poetry and lazing around the swimming hole," to be held at an undisclosed location near Whanganui in January, but if this year's bill for Gathering In The Forest 2018 is anything to go by it should be pretty mind-blowing. The organisers state more than twenty acts will be performing at the summer affair, here's the details revealed so far...

For the last two years we’ve put on the music festival ‘A Gathering in the Forest’.
Now we’re taking the lessons we’ve learned from an amazing couple of festivals to bring ‘Welcome to Nowhere’ – two full days of music, art, poetry and lazing around the swimming hole.
This will be happening the weekend of January 12-13th, 2019 near Whanganui. Key dates are:
FRIDAY JAN 11TH – Fest opens at 4:20pm, low-key music in the evening SATURDAY JAN 12TH – Day 1 SUNDAY JAN 13TH – Day 2 MONDAY JAN 14TH – Home-time
