Bad Sav Share Self-Titled Debut Album

Dunedin noise-rockers Bad Sav have unveiled their long-awaited self-titled debut album, which has been in the works for nigh on a decade. Along with familiar favourites 'Labradoodle', and recent student radio hit 'Hens Teeth' there's plenty of new tunes to chew on from the trio of Hope Robertson, Lucinda King (both of Death And The Maiden) and drummer Mike McLeod (Shifting Sands). In the band's early days Robertson described Bad Sav's sound as “...a missed punch and a grazed fist. Sad, heavy, unpredictable loud pop." That description still hold true as they conjure epic maelstroms of distorted guitars, pounding drums, reverbed vocals and squalling noisescapes to teleport listeners into their bruised sonic universe.
