JC Carroll of The Members New Zealand Show Announced
UK punk trailblazer JC Carroll of legendary Stiff Records alumni The Members is heading our way in October, with a headline performance lined up for Auckland's Thirsty Dog. Co-songwriter of iconic 70s The Members' tunes 'Solitary Confinement' and 'The Sound of the Suburbs', Carroll's group chalked up chart hits in the US and Australia before splitting in 1983, with the singer and composer moving on to work with his folk band The Wise Monkeys. Carroll later reformed The Members and released solo collections New English Blues Volume 1 and The Rock Is In The Laptop to considerable acclaim, along with establishing a career as a soundtrack artist.
