Connan Mockasin Shares Single 'Con Conn Was Impatient' + Video

Inimitable psychedelic pop star Connan Mockasin has followed through on the near-mythical promise of his much-teased upcoming album Jassbusters, by releasing today that record's spicy lead single 'Con Conn Was Impatient' and an accompanying self-directed video to boot. There's quite a story to go along with Mockasin's conceptually-driven new offering - Jassbusters will be released this October in tandem with a five part film created by the artist titled Bostyn ’n Dobsyn, which tells the tale of "a fictional music teacher, Bostyn, and his student, Dobsyn. Mockasin plays Bostyn, while Dobsyn is played by Mockasin’s childhood next door neighbour Blake Pryor." Jassbusters will present the songs recorded by Bostyn (Mockasin) and his fictional band of music teachers - it's the ex-pat artist's third studio album and the first he's recorded with a band.
