The Naenae Express Share Fresh Video 'Vegetables'
Auckland psych-pop posse The Naenae Express have shared a DIY video for their song ‘Vegetables’. The clip was created by David Adison of NIISA, Heroes For Sale, milk and CHEATS, who sadly is no longer with us, compiled from footage shot in Whanganui and the Waitemata harbour of "friends eating and playing around," and features an appearance from a vampiric figure named Count Crumpet. The rambling number is bustling with crisp guitars and detailed arrangements, with singer Scott Kendall's lyrics exploring the merits of a simple life. Kendall states the song is the first track from an upcoming seven track collection, you can catch his band doing their thing alongside Christchurch's Wurld Series at Auckland's Thirsty Dog this coming Saturday. Vibe out to their video here...
