Premiere: Thousand Limbs Share Dusky Video 'Amok'

Auckland-based instrumental doom band Thousand Limbs have unveiled a dark and visually stunning clip for their track ‘Amok’. Directed by Amber Beaton (who was also behind Hex’s excellent ‘Sight Beyond The Line’), the video shows guitarist Patrick Gray as a mystical hermit character traversing through snowy, grayscale woods. Even with the shadowy aesthetic, the creative process was far from bleak, as Gray describes...

“During the shoot I could not really see anything wearing the white contacts, and during one of the first shots, Amber told me to walk in a certain direction, then she started just playing around with some equipment so I blindly walked into a ditch and fell down a small bank. I was certain that she did it on purpose at the time, but she assures me she did not, which i do believe, as she would have no problem taking credit for pranking me like that if it was intentional.”
