Listen To Sandy Mill's Soulful 'Giftbox' EP
Originally hailing from Gisbourne and of Ngati Porou descent, Sandy Mill has a fabulous musical career under her belt, as a member of The Bellbirds with Don McGlashan, Victoria Kelly and Sean Donnelly (SJD) and countless collaborative works with the likes of local groups New Telepathics, Dub Asylum, along with international superstars Basement Jaxx, Gary Numan, and many more. Mill has now unveiled her three-track Giftbox EP, the latest sounds to emerge from her forthcoming collection A Piece Of Me out this May. The title tune is a hip-shaking soulful number inspired by the likes of sixties legends Dusty Springfield and Nancy Sinatra, and is accompanied by two smooth club mixes from producer Dean Webb. Mill is releasing her new album at Auckland's Lula Inn with her live band next Friday, and will be performing at the annual Borderline Music Festival in early June. 'A Piece Of Me' is out Friday 4th May.
