Southern Fork Americana Fest Announced For 2017 + First Line-Up Revealed

The much loved Southern Fork Americana Fest is rollin' back into town for its fourth iteration this October. The festival will see Auckland venue The Tuning Fork graced by some stellar alt-country artists from North America as well as our very own homegrown favourites for a jam-packed months of shows. International talent on the bill for 2017 is Americana blue blood Justin Townes Earle as well as cult favourite Son Volt, Grammy nominee Robbie Fulks and Nashville crooner Joshua Hedley. Update 12/09/17: A second Justin Townes Earle show has been added for the Thursday evening. Unfortunately, The Warratahs have had to pull out due to recurring injury, however The Eastern have stepped up to fill their slot. And local supports have been added - check out the updated schedule below...

TICKETING INFORMATION:

To once again offer enthusiasts the chance to see more acts and to encourage music fans to discover new artists, the festival will have a special ticket pricing scheme, enabling them to receive discounts on multiple ticket purchases. Each show is colour coded. Buy a ticket to a red show and you can buy tickets to white shows at 25% off and blue shows at 50% off. White show ticket buyers can get blue show tickets at 25% off. These offers are only available for advance purchases.

Also, any purchase of a ticket to shows on the following dates (7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th and 15th October) will be able to buy a $10 ticket to ‘The Shape I’m In’ Hootenanny and BBQ on Saturday the 14th of October. This offer will be available when purchasing other tickets.
