Watch The Trailer For King Loser Documentary 'You Cannot Kill What Does Not Live'
Back in September, notorious four-piece King Loser hit the road for their '16 Comeback Special tour, a eight-date run that was bookended by two shows in Auckland. While it seemed like the wheels might fall off at any time, the tumultuous group that formed around Chris Heazlewood and Celia Mancini in the early 90s, pulled off the nationwide jaunt in fine style - while the whole thing was being documented by filmmaker Andrew Moore (who has also made an awesome film documenting early NZ skate culture called No More Heroes).
Titled King Loser - You Cannot Kill What Does Not Live (the name taken from the group's 1995 record), the documentary is slated for release next year, but Moore has cut a great trailer to whet the appetite - opening with a very apt description of the band straight from the mouth of Heazlewood...
"When you play with that band you do feel like you're in a gang, a really fucking mean, arrogant, angry, privileged, entitled, bunch of pricks. And that's your camaraderie. That you're just a bunch of c**ts."
