With their filthy breakdowns and a shared affinity for moshing, local hardcore punk band Wreckpile is here to bring the pain and play their first gig down at Grey Lynn Community Centre on the 24th of May with their own rap-rock twist, sharing the stage with fellow Tamaki Makaurau punks CCTV, local shoegaze legends Blossom, and the emo-influenced-pop-punkers in Sympathy for Summer.
The gig will be held at Grey Lynn Community Centre, with doors opening at 7:30 and Wreckpile opening up for the night (and the pit) as they bring their own ruckus, followed by CCTV's intense, in-your-face tunes, Blossom's punk-infused shoegaze anthems, and Sympathy for Summer going last but not least as they close off the night on a more melodic note.
So, what are you waiting for? Get those tickets or pull up to the venue. You know the time, you know the place. You can't miss this gig. You just can't.
(All proceeds of the gig will be donated to a trusted charitable mental health organization).
