NZ Music Month Celebration with 3 of NZ's Finest Rock Acts

The Rainfall, Tablefox and Midwave Breaks are kicking NZ Music Month off in style with one massive all ages show at the incredible BIG FAN.

Tauranga alt-rock duo Midwave Breaks have continued to make an impact since their debut in 2021, with six independent singles hitting the Top 10 on the NZ Rock Airplay Chart. Their growing fanbase, dynamic live shows, and independent airwaves success earned them a finalist spot at the 2024 Aotearoa Music Awards for Best Rock Act. Driven by the energy of the creative process, and with an innate ability to craft songs that capture a moment, Midwave Breaks are a modern take on the soundtrack of their youth - purposefully retrospective mixed with the new. To celebrate NZ Music Month at Big Fan the band are excited to debut brand new material along with fan favourites.

Tablefox , the powerhouse of NZ Alt-Rock has seen extraordinary success in recent years propelled by their defining album Battles. Their 2024 single ‘DON’T WAIT FOR ME TO BE WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE’ has been in the TOP 20 of the NZ ROCK CHART since April 2024 while their latest single ‘WHERE DO I BELONG?’ spent 3 weeks at #1 and has been in the TOP 10 since November 2024. The band formed out of a combined love for seminal artists from 70’s and 80’s music such as The Cars, David Bowie, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cure, Crowded House, Dinosaur Jr and The Cult. Known for their electrifying performances and having shared stages with icons like James, The Charlatans, Ash, Big Country, Inspiral Carpets and Ride.

The Rainfall hail from Christchurch and have been recently been making big waves on Rock Radio. An energetic rock band drawing from a diverse array of influences spanning the likes of Blink 182, The Foo Fighters, Oasis, and pop artists such as The 1975. From slow rock ballads to catchy pop choruses with driven guitars, you are sure to find something to enjoy in The Rainfall.

All Ages/Licenced – bring the whole family. This intimate venue is sure to sell out so get in quick.
