Performance: Ocean Harp Songs with Jessica Browning
An evening of music with Jessica Browning, an American harpist, singer, activist, and artist who recently arrived in Wellington after crossing the Pacific Ocean on her sailboat with her husband, son, and three harps.
During this special Seaweed Fest concert, Jessica will perform music using her voice, her electric harp, and play a duet with seaweed using her plant wave (a machine measuring the sonic water flow through plants)
Much of the music you will hear during this concert was written in the middle of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans,during Jessica's navigating journeys.
Jessica has performed across the globe, being a featured artist in France, the United States, India, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Australia, the Caribbean Islands, and currently New Zealand. She makes music about the water, feminism, and being in connection with nature.
