The now London based musician Arjuna Oakes returns to Aotearoa for the first time in 18 months, bringing his band to perform at Big Fan in Auckland on the 17th of January.
Arjuna has been busy in London, performing at The Jazz Cafe supporting Nathan Haines in August, traveling to Paris to perform for the NZ Olympic Team, and just recently was featured as a Spotify UK Fresh Finds artist with billboards in Leicester Square. He recorded an EP with John Psathas in Athens that came out in January 2024, and has released singles on Albert's Favourites label throughout the year.
Ahead of an album release in May 2025, Arjuna returns to his native New Zealand to perform new material and reunite with original collaborators Sam Notman on Drums (now London based) and Harrison Scholes on bass, with other special guest appearances.
Arjuna is also performing at Soundsplash in Raglan on the 18th of January and Parrotdog in Wellington on the 7th of February. Catch him while he's in NZ!
