There’s something curious about composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nikau Te Huki, a young Māori-Italian maestro whose soulful solo project goes by the name of Casual Healing. Alongside his five-piece band, Nikau holds a charming crooked smile and often appears in elaborate wardrobe, with an old nylon guitar over his shoulder, looking like Elvis Marley as he weaves a symphony.
