Il Brutto Presents Chores with the support of Danni and Chooky - 30 November
Chores are an award-winning musical duo originally from New Zealand and currently based in Melbourne.
They have built a strong reputation with their DJ sets and dynamic performances at renowned clubs such as Revolver, Cloud 9, Kilo, and Ink. Additionally, they have performed at major festivals across Australia, Fiji, Singapore, and New Zealand including Rhythm and Vines, Northern Bass, and Bay Dreams.
Their versatility in production and DJing has allowed them to support big names in electronic music like The Chainsmokers, Peking Duk, Hayden James, and Duke Dumont, as well as underground tastemakers such as Detroit Swindle, Todd Terje DJ Koze, and Chaos in the CBD.
They have also been involved in remixes with artists like Dom Dolla, Fatboy Slim, and Dick Johnson.
In 2023, the duo announced a return to a more club-oriented production style, where they initially began their musical careers. They launched a new series of club edits called Dark Mode, self-remixing their most popular singles as the versions that they typically play at clubs and festivals as DJs. This series will see four releases slotted in alongside their single releases in 2024.
