About a year ago, I dreamt that I was playing beautiful shiny music in Envy Gallery with my friends, and I'm excited to announce that this will now become a reality.
Off the back of their debut performance for the Wellington Jazz Cooperative, The Hectet will be performing two sets of original compositions and arrangements by Hector McLachlan (The Teskey Brothers, Revulva) at Envy on Saturday the 7th of December among the works of Pōneke icon Sallie Culy. The first set will be at 4:30pm, and the second one at 6pm.
This beautiful band of buddies features Olivia Campion on drums, Phoebe Johnson on double bass, and Jasper Holloway on electric guitar. Hector will be playing a Fender Rhodes and an Ensoniq SQ1 Plus for these special performances.
