Wellington 2 piece The Bravo Uniform Mikes (AKA The B.U.Ms) release their 2nd EP within 6 months and hit the road to celebrate.
One of the busiest bands in all of NZ, The B.U.Ms play Ding Dong Lounge for the first time.
The band has played 30+ shows across the country in 2024 including 2 shows with rock legends Head like a Hole and 2 shows with Aussie rockers Hammers.
They released an EP mid 2024 and release their 2nd EP on the 16th of November.
The Second EP is noisy, distorted and scratchy.
This tour takes the band across the North Island for 5 shows in Taupo, Napier, Wellington, Auckland and lastly Whangarei.
Joining them is
Swizl Jager
Swizl Jager is a reo rua (bilingual) rapper with a modern flow and cheeky Māori humour. His gully raps leave reo speakers and non reo speakers dumbfounded. Swizl’s songs have been featured in many NZ Films & TV shows such as Ahikāroa, Waiata Anthems, Moko Ink and Brokenwood Mysteries and he recently won the people’s choice award at the Maoriland Film Festival 2024 for his self directed music video “Hīnaki”. His metal background gives him that extra edge and his followers, aka his whaYES not Whanau (far-no) will agree that it sets his live shows apart from most other rappers. His passion for music doesn’t stop at his own, you can catch him almost every weekend supporting artists and going to shows of all genres.
