Maracatui is flying north to Paekākāriki bringing rhythm and dance to the coast.
The performance will kick off and rock the St. Peters Village Hall from 7:30pm with traditional Maracatu percussion, song, and dance all the way from Pernambuco in northeast Brazil.
Enjoy original Maracatu rhythms incorporating a broader range of instrumentation creating musical arrangements that have wide appeal while still paying homage to traditional Brazilian Maracatu roots and culture.
Seating and tables will be available but limited.......arrive early!
