Bottom Bunk Club is putting out a new EP! Come join them and and some of their punk-folk friends for an evening of delightfully edgy acoustic music.
BOTTOM BUNK CLUB released their first single “Puke” in June 2024, and are looking forward to generating further noise pollution with the release of their first EP on 15 November. Bottom Bunk Club blends the angst and punchy hooks of 90s/00s pop punk rock with the raw acoustic energy of folk and bluegrass. They write really good bad songs about the most pressing issues of our time: tactical footwear, shoplifting and Japanese sea monsters.
DIRTY SPOONS don’t care where it’s been. They’ll stir in country, pop, and indie rock to make songs a bit like miniskirts, you know, short enough to keep your attention but long enough to cover the essentials: death, fishing, internet dating, lost dogs...
SOMETHING SUCKS is a smooth-brain pop punk band hailing from coastal Pōneke, Aotearoa
As the musical outlet of Jessie McKenzie and Finn Hurley, Something Sucks creates up-beat pop punk songs incorporating splashes of inspiration from a variety of influences including early 2000s pop punk, indie rock and midwest emo (to name a few…)
Something sucks isn’t a phase mom, so sit down, shut up and listen to them rant about awkward dating experiences, breakups, autopsies and pants…?
MELTING FACES, usually awash with swirly psychedelia, put down the electrics and go acoustic for this one.
