A rare chance to see this seasoned and iconic singer/songwriter and his great band in concert.
For many years Otis has been performing his own brand of unusual and riveting indie pop - a sort of melodramatic reptilian lounge folk crossed with psycho-billy sleaze: dark comedic slices of life moulded into short pithy pop styles.
Taking inspiration from early folk rock and then from the punk era Maces music has been described by DON McGALSHAN as "utterly unlike anyone else" and by GRAHAM REID as " one of our best kept secrets"
On the set list there'll be a few choice co-writes with local lyric maestro RICHARD VON STURMER and also with Manchester poet John Cooper Clarke.
