MALEVOLENCE (Tāmaki Makaurau)
Malevolence are New Zealand’s longest standing purveyor of Metal and Grind. Through extensive touring and numerous releases the band has achieved a reputation not only for its unique style but also as an engaging live act.
Formed in 1992, Malevolence has hit the road with bands such as Brutal Truth & DRI, Dismember, Napalm Death, Primate & Lock Up, Impaled Nazerene, Blood Duster, Misery & Atomizer, Pungent Stench, and Midnight from the USA, as well many local acts. The band has also appeared at major NZ metal festivals such as Christchurch’s Satanfest, Wellington’s Punkfest, Capital Punishment, Scumfest & Hellington666, Auckland’s Audience with the Devil, Mammoth Metalfest and Fangfest.
WINDSWEPT (Te Whanganui-a-Tara)
Crawling and snarling its ways through the southerly bowels of Wellington, Windswept was conceived to deliver raw, harrowing and hideous black metal. With members of captured kings, bulletbelt and dolebludger, they bring an unholy matrimony of noise to desecrate their victims.
