The Mons Whaler are pumped to be joined by local indie-roots reggae sensations Bush Buds and indietronica powerhouses Twin Tiger for a one off local show of epic proportions. All three acts are absolutely fizzing to send it large at home at Butlers Reef on the 2nd of November. This will be a showcase of some the best local talent and a night to remember.
The Mons Whaler bring their swampy alt-blues fuzz tones and tight velvet vocals to their signature neo-vintage sound. Bush Buds are born and raised in the waves of Waitara and the ngahere of North Taranaki. They are a 5 piece Indie-roots reggae band, with a sound that’s uniquely Aotearoa. With a strong connection to the whenua and people of Taranaki, Bush Buds are known to weave their vibe deeply into dance floors across the country.
Twin Tiger is a four piece Indietronica band who's synth-heavy, 80's inspired pop confidently rests on a dance-ready groove. Laced with plenty of catchy licks and memorable melodies, Twin Tiger are destined to be your new favourite band. Based in New Plymouth, New Zealand Twin Tiger's endearing collection of songs have been written under the influence of Taranaki's sunny skies and endless black sand beaches
