Love Square - a new band from Nick Atkinson | 6PM-7PM
Love Square is a trio of musicians, who take you on a jazz journey from the basements and back-roads of Addis Ababa to the pulsating highlands of Bolivia. From the Caribbean to the Pacific, they groove, cha-cha and they cumbia across the stage till the whole house is moving with energy!
Nick Atkinson brings his range of saxes for Late Night Art, and sometimes plays the keys. Though Finn Scholes has no trouble playing his trumpet alongside his electric piano in union! Both bring full hand percussion, bongos, congas and many horns! Alistair Deverick bangs the drums, and you have to see this guy cook to understand why he's got the seat in Lawrence Arabia, Carnivorous Plant Society and the Come Together band.
