Aotearoa's Finest Live at Ponsonby Social Club: A Night of Unmissable Talent

Auckland, NZ – Prepare for an electrifying night of music and talent at Ponsonby Social Club on Friday, 18th October, as some of Aotearoa's finest artists take the stage! Brace yourself for an electrifying showcase featuring a lineup of artists who have perfected their craft!

The event promises a dynamic lineup, featuring performances by SAMMI FC, Hari, theajsound, Kwyze, Job Squad, pRieZt, and thrillpvck thari.

~ The Lineup ~

• SAMMI FC: Sammi is a multi-genre DJ based in Auckland, NZL. She started her journey by practicing the art of DJing in the comfort of her own home and playing for friends and family.

Sammi began uploading her mixes to SoundCloud for more to hear, and started playing at venues such as Neck of the Woods, and Ghost Donkey. She loves to play all genres of music including, Pop, RnB, Amapiano, UKG, and just anything that she knows will get the crowd dancing.

• Hari: Hari is a female artist - serving you the finest of herbs and spices - a blend of R&B, soul, and your favourite glass of wine. You can find traces of flavours in Hari that are influenced by younger sibling energy, the internet, and the conspiracy rabbit holes you see on YouTube. Don’t believe everything Hari says, but do believe she brings forth a legacy - an angelic voice that will propel you to the depths of the heavens.

• theajsound: is a rising Indian pop artist known for blending soulful melodies, introspective lyrics, and infectious beats. His genre-defying sound has made him a standout, drawing inspiration from pop, electronic, and world music. Featured in Rolling Stone India, theajsound was praised for his innovative music and deep connection with fans. The article highlights his latest work as a refreshing wave in the industry, blending unforgettable hooks with heartfelt lyrics. With growing acclaim, theajsound is establishing himself as a force in the global music scene.

• Kwyze: From the get go he was a dancer with no thought of being a musician, dancing with artists, for example, Jay Sean and Lauren Hill and plenty more in stadiums and arenas. When meeting and sorting the performance structure and formations of the show. At the same time, he created a company called Urban Based Movement in Melbourne. Where he toured around Australia, performing ballet, contemporary & hip-hop/break dancing. 

Dance has a big impact on his performances when delivering clear lyrics, producing beats and now sound engineering for mastering his own tracks. Now manages a couple of artists and helps them with confidence and reminds them repeatedly to do it for the craft. He doesn't believe in competition, he thinks it's something you should try to avoid as he is not the type to try "beat someone at something" as that interrupts his creativity. He has no role models, he's not aiming to be anyone or influenced to be someone he's not and it shows through his music and performances. 

He has a unique style of rap that comes from a true place. When performing at AUM festival he realised the amount of lives he impacted when getting a wave of people wanting photos after his performance. He's very in-touch with his own essence, and because he doesn't get swayed by others it’s a permanent shift.  

• Job Squad: Hailing from the heart of South Auckland, childhood friends Sensei and Jey Mysterio have been shaping their sound together since they were kids, but it’s only now that they’re stepping into the spotlight with their much-anticipated debut performance. Known for their authentic lyrical storytelling, infectious energy, and seamless chemistry on stage, the duo is ready to make waves in the local hip-hop scene.

Their debut performance marks the launch of their self-titled project, a collection that blends the best of their solo influences with a fresh, collaborative sound that reflects their unique journey as artists. Both Sensei and Jey Mysterio bring their distinct styles to the table—Sensei’s sharp, conscious rhymes paired with Jey’s dynamic flow and raw emotion create a balanced yet electrifying experience.

• pRieZt: the night wouldn’t be complete without the powerful voice and commanding presence of pRieZt, who will keep the energy high. An up and coming freestyle artist, raised locally in West Auckland. With a hunger for purpose through God, Family and Music, at only SEVENTEEN he has big dreams of making sure his mother and younger sisters are well looked after. Willing to go all the way, to be the best he can be so don't miss the MC in the making pRieZt.
