THE MAINZ ARCHIVES:

Auckland, New Zealand – Friday 6th September – Following the success of ‘MAINZ - The Final Arcade,’ we are excited to announce THE MAINZ ARCHIVES, a night dedicated to honouring the legacy of the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ). This event will take place on Friday, 6th September at Big Fan, located at 25 McDonald Street, Morningside, Auckland.

THE MAINZ ARCHIVES is more than just a gig; it's a celebration of the incredible talent that has emerged from MAINZ, an institution that sadly closed its doors in 2023. This event offers an opportunity for the wider MAINZ whānau to come together, reconnect, and continue to celebrate the one-of-a-kind music school that nurtured countless artists and industry professionals.

The night will feature performances by past students, showcasing the remarkable talent that has been developed by MAINZ. Attendees will be treated to an unforgettable evening filled with live music, nostalgia, and the vibrant community spirit that made MAINZ so special.

A few ex MAINZ tutors have collated together to fundraise the start up costs for a new PTE to deliver music education.
