Set to make a name for themselves, Thomas McHutchison and Tom Lush (Bass player and Lead guitarist from Christchurch band Dolphin Friendly) formed together at the beginning of 2023 keen to take a fresh approach to live music.
Pooling resources and equipment, the duo quickly started developing a taste for concocting the Bloopenstein experience.
The duo stands at the cusp of each performance having absolutely no idea what will come out, each session is pure improvisation, meddling with the idea that music can be a flowing state of consciousness with each idea or concept inspiring the next.
