Dave ‘Taay Ninh’ Wright is an award winning artist, musician, DJ and sound designer.
He is founder of Electric Wire Hustle, a contemporary psychedelic soul group
who garnered international acclaim. He has performed around the world at festivals such as Glastonbury, Dour, Sonar, Sziget, SXSW, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide, New York’s CMJ and The Roots Picnic.
Taay has held DJ residencies locally and abroad such as New York’s Ace Hotel, Berlin’s Tausend and during service at some of Wellington’s most iconic venues.
Taay has also DJ’d and programmed music for renowned brands such as Red Bull, Zambesi, Icebreaker and Kowtow Clothing. This has included runway shows, new season releases and one-off events.
