95bFM returned to the rave last year after a decade-long hiatus from the days of OONST. To everyone’s delight and no one's surprise it was a raging success, so we thought, lets do it again!
bRave is fast becoming our favourite annual dance party, where we can celebrate of our diverse community of excellent DJ’s as well the new generation of 95bFM Rave fans! So we have, yet again, curated the sickest line up for one heaven of a night!
It’s big beats, sweat and hearts filled on the dance floor. It’s a damn good time! Expect anything from weird hyperpop to deep house, fiery techno to whatever else your little rave heart desires.

MR MEATY BOY - Wellington / Te Whanganui-a-Tara
MR MEATY BOY (Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi) is a DJ and multi-disciplinary artist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara . Their debut show was Fostercare’s eMotionz series at Christchurch’s infamous darkroom in 2019. Since then they have played shows with Club Unique, Nympho, Third-Party, Insessions and HAVEN. They run a club night initiative with other Ōtautahi artists called WAY.PNT - endeavouring to connect underground scenes with a community first approach. MR MEATY BOY is known for genre jumping sets that push music exploration and spirit of dance and rave culture.
VERCETTI - Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
Standing at the forefront of global club music in Tāmaki Makaurau, VERCETTI is a Niuean/Cook Island DJ and multidisciplinary artist. Stepping into the booth, his sound, deriving from his upbringing and intersectional identity infused with skilful genre-bending creates a presence and energy that is dynamic & unparalleled, garnering attention from prominent Aotearoa nightlife & music fixtures such as Dance Therapy, Nightside and Auckland Pride. VERCETTI has had the privilege to play for some of the country's most prominent collectives such as Glass Half Full, NYMPHO and All My Friends & has opened for international artists including Lady Shaka and Jasmine Infiniti.
You can also find VERCETTI having a prominent presence through radio and nightlife scenes, He currently is a co-director and DJ resident of DOLLHOUSE, a queer club night that emphasizes global club music and queer liberation. He has also played on Various Mouthfull Radio shows, has hosted his 95bFM show: First Of The Month Radio, to now on a George FM Nights summer residency with DOLLHOUSE.
BBYFACEKILLA - Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
Tāmaki Makaurau based DJ BBYFACEKILLA has been making waves on an international level. Unbound by the restrictions of Gender, Genre and Format, their sets weave together a captivating blend of high-energy percussive club tracks, infused with fiery club edits, footwork, juke, house and techno.
BFK's selections are heavily influenced by their Pasifika cultural upbringing (Samoan/Niuean). They are drawn to Polyrhythmic Percs that resemble the patè, a traditional Samoan drum. As well as, the diverse music and dance styles they were exposed to growing up, and their sentimental connection to 90’s rnb and hip hop.
After leaving an undeniable mark in the local scene following their Boiler Room set with pro Queer BIPOC club night FILTH, they have gone on to grace the stages of renowned festivals all over Aotearoa. Additionally, they have provided support for international artists like Jyoty, Sicaria, Sherelle, DJ Plead, and Kush Jones.
Storytelling through sound, BBYFACEKILLA also runs their own radio show ‘BFK Radio’ on bFM!
AndWahn- Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
AndWahn is a Tāmaki Makaurau-based DJ and producer known for crafting bass and breakbeat music. Through his cerebral, melancholic, and vivid sonic textures, he seeks to curate a safe space of both solace and reflection for listeners and dancers. AndWahn sees his tracks as a form of personal journaling; his music holds a pronounced focus towards how we navigate the mental health of ourselves and others in this world.
AJHoneysuckle - Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
E koekoe te tūī, e ketekete te kākā, e kūkū te kererū @ajhoneysuckle’s sound echoes her environment - delivered always with big time sensuality and a careful ear to local and international undulations.
As well as her pono dj sets throughout the motu, aj has featured on @noa.records as a member of the Virtual Shadow Ensemble, and co-heads the recently founded @kanikani.company. From Samoa to the mighty Waikato, out to the world and back home again.
GALOLEAFI - Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
GALOLEAFI is the experimental club project of producer, artist, and composer Samara Alofa. The experiment explores multiple genres such as electro, acid techno, electronic metal and noise music, club edits, experimental trap and hip hop, funk, house, percs, acid dub, ambience and more. GALOLEAFI means forget the fire in their native tongue, their selections are informed by the saying and the research they do, on art, artists & music makers of the world who are using the medium to communicate things typically ignored by the politically inept.
Current Bias - Wellington / Te Whanganui-a-Tara
Current Bias is a producer/dj originally from Boorhoo Booja (Perth, Western Australia) now resident in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa (Wellington, New Zealand). They have a string of releases on Bandcamp and Soundcloud and have contributed to labels such as Related Articles, Racquet Club, The Big Fresh Collective, acoldplace, Juke Bounce Work, Strange Behaviour and recently a contribution to Tautoko Gaza, a compilation initiative to help raise funds to go towards Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), an NGO working to support growing critical health needs resulting from Israel's ongoing bombardment and complete siege on Gaza.
C.Bias was a resident radio dj for the Homebass show on RadioactiveFM, co-hosted with DJ Lever every six weeks for 4 years. Alongside the past radio slot they have released mixes out on the musical platforms ACOLDPLACE, Friendly Potential, Related Articles, Terra Incognita, and Third Party Radio
