This Silent Divide bring a night of live rock and punk music to Auckland’s Ding Dong Lounge for their ‘In This World’ single release show, with support from locals Lost Vessels and Gravity Road. $15 tickets, $20 door sales from 8pm.
This Silent Divide are a rock band from Wellington that mix driving drums, wall-of-sound guitars and melodic overtones to create catchy, high-energy songs. They are known for their tight and powerful live sound that gets audiences moving.
In 2023 the band released the singles ‘Beautiful Creature’, ‘Morning’ and ‘Outside’ to critical acclaim, receiving radio play in New Zealand, the US & UK. The band also released a dark and mysterious music video for Beautiful Creature.
Flash-Trax labelled This Silent Divide “a major, directed force building in the New Zealand music industry” and described recent single ‘Outside’ as “an utter beast that will tear wallpaper off the walls and make the neighbours complain”.
The band’s new single 'In This World' is out on 1 March. Check out the band's music on your favourite music streaming platform.
Lost Vessels are one of Auckland’s most promising young rock acts, a high-energy 5 piece pop-punk band fronted by singer Eileen Jolly, channelling dynamic, catchy choruses with dual vocalists and a super-tight rhythm section not afraid of a half-time breakdown or two to get heads nodding. They released their debut EP “Things I Never Said” in September 2023.
Auckland rockers Gravity Road have been an influential part of the city's rock scene since 2017. Blending elements of 90s hard rock and contemporary prog, the band thrives on weaving melodies, asymmetries, textures and powerful riffs together into enjoyable musical journeys. Gravity Road has previously released a three-track EP entitled Walking on Shadows and is currently getting plans into place to record an album.
