Bittersweet, an exciting indie-pop/rock band from Auckland, is thrilled to finally share their debut single, self-titled Bittersweet, with the world on the 24th of November and to celebrate, they are putting on their first-ever show at The Underground on the 14th of December.
Bittersweet are bursting onto the Kiwi music scene with style and enthusiasm as they slowly gain a loyal following. After being together for three years, the young band re-branded in 2023 and quickly got to work writing some catchy tunes and playing shows. Bittersweet is fronted by Ella Reid on vocals, followed by Liam Beasley and Dan Steele on guitar, with brothers Owen and Jack Frear making up the rhythm section, playing the bass and drums respectively. The various musical backgrounds of Bittersweet's five members result in a sound that crosses numerous genres, drawing inspiration from indie and rock music.
Joining Bittersweet are Locals Only, a self-recording rock indie band based in Auckland with new releases arising and only the best vibes coming, they are a band to look out for. The two Doms, Madi, and Eric are solely focused on great music, greater performances, and entertaining a crowd.
The other support act will remain a secret until you see them with your own eyes on the 14th!! ;)
