Recently moved to Auckland from Wellington, Thomas Friggens is a powerful drummer who straddles multiple musical worlds effortlessly.
After his study at NZSM, Thomas toured as an integral member of the world-renowned contemporary ensemble Strike Percussion.
In more recent years, he has found himself collaborating with a surreal sketch circus and some of New Zealand's best poets. Alongside writing and running his own projects, Thomas tours and records regularly with numerous groups including Sea Mouse, Odessa, Bazurka, and Shades of Shakti.
