Holly Kimber and Sam Bambery
Holly Kimber is a well-recognized name in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, having performed covers through a circuit of local venues. She has evolved in 2023 with a new sound and original songs. Holly has a tale to tell and does it with a full-bodied indie sound streaked with psychedelic influence and fluent vocals. She is excited for a singer-songwriter journey, having already laid tracks for her forthcoming debut EP expected early 2024.
Sam Bambery is an Ōtautahi/Christchurch-based songwriter and artist, exploring his love of semi-psychedelia and sonic texture through a twisted folk-rock lens. Leaning heavily into alt-country collage with his debut album Songs About Sailors (released March 2022), Bambery has spent a deal of time since refining his sound, taking inspiration from songwriters like Damien Jurado and Angel Olsen.
