Ghost Media, Echo Train & Disfigured presents:
PLASTICIAN (UK)
With support from BABETECH, JAGA, NOYER, SOCIAL SPORT , VESIKA & YOUNG GHO$T
Friday 15th September @ Valhalla
Powered by Further Sound
For our next international, we are proud to present one of the true pioneers of grime and dubstep - PLASTICIAN.
This man has been in the game slinging plates since 1999, and we are honoured to have him blesssing us with a 2 hour set for his first NZ dates since 2011. He will be joined by SOCIAL SPORT and JAGA, two talented New Zealand producers who have released tracks through his Terrorhythm imprint, founded in 2002 and credited with signing debut releases from Om Unit and Joker among others, built on pushing underground sounds to the masses.
As a producer, Plastician has worked with some of the most respected artists in the game, including collaborations with Skepta, Frisco and El-B. In the early 2000s his releases garnered support from pioneering DJs such as Slimzee and Hatcha, and he has been playing regularly on Rinse FM since 2003. In 2007 he released his debut album, Beg to Differ, which is widely credited as being one of the first intersections between dubstep and hip-hop. Since then he has continued to push cutting edge sounds which he will be showcasing throughout his trip to Aotearoa.
On support, we have a handpicked selection of the capital's finest DJs, including multi-genre extraordinaire BABETECH, garage specialist NOYER, wax professional VESIKA, and microphone champion YOUNG GHO$T on bar duty. We also have FURTHER SOUND joining us to provide some extra bass weight at our favourite hole in the wall, VALHALLA. Lovely!
Capacity is strictly limited to 200 tickets. Lock your place in now and don't miss out on this rare event.
Tickets available from undertheradar.co.nz

Do not touch anybody or cross anybody's boundaries without their consent. If somebody is annoying you, feel free to come and speak to event staff - we are here for your safety.
