Soul & Groove meets Galactic Funk
Black Comet is a New Zealand based five-piece band led by frontman Laughton Kora - a vessel for pushing musical boundaries with a Heavy Galactic Funk experience and groove-based narratives.
Band members are Laughton Kora (vocals/guitar), Sam Jones (keys/sax), Poihakena Reid (keys/sax/guitar/voice box), Stan Bicknell (drums), and Dan Antonovich (bass). The band has been compared to the “Millennium Falcon making the Kessel run in less than 12 par-secs”.
