Artist Bio:
Hanwho performs a solo live set meandering through various soundscapes using voice and an array of instrumentation. Fluctuating between electric bass and guitar, elements of soul, jazz and psychedelic pop are supported by minimal electronic textures and vocal improvisation. Expect a highly curated, well balanced mix of afro grooves, acoustic moods, dreamy harmonies and subtle looping. WIth the ability to perform upwards of 3 hours and with several years of live performance experience, Hanwho has something different to offer while exhibiting styles to be enjoyed by an eclectic audience population. He has recently performed at Sofar Sounds Wellington, been the resident artist at Poquito Bar and has performed on Earth Beat’s main stage 2023.
