HINA
Sharing her name with a deity of the moon known throughout Polynesia, HINA is an artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Aotearoa. Poised to usher in a richer sonic era with a stellar band of Harry Thompson-Cook (lead guitar), Navakatoa Tekela-Pule (bass), Scott Claessens (drums), new music has been brewing, ready for your ears in February.
BABE MARTIN
Babe Martin is an alternative, dreamy musician based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Lover of synth, strings and buzzy harmonies. Music to come, stay tuned.
HUN LYNCH
Hannah Lynch is a multi-disinplinary artist who works primarily as an actor, musician, dancer, writer and score maker. She is of Palagi and Samoan descent who’s ancestors hail from the village of Vaiusu. After graduating from Toi Whakaari in 2018 she went on to devise and perform in Red Leap’s award nominated Owls do cry and Dakota of the White Flats. In 2022 she starred alongside Nathalie Morris in the sophomore film from acclaimed director Alena Lodkina Petrol which took her Locarno international film festival and MIFF. This year she also made scores for Left of Spring and Bellum, dance works by Rose Philpott, choreographed on the Unitec graduating class, and Puffy Sob, a work by choreographer Jess Crompton. She was also published in the 2022 Mayhem journal with an essay titled the sun burns alone about being queer and raised in the church.
