OOF - What a way to kick-off 2023 with our heaviest line-up to date!
Taking the nation by storm just in time for the festive season - needing absolutely zero introduction, we present the legendary UPGRADE & TRIGGA!
*UPGRADE*
From the moment Upgrade pressed play on a tape pack handed to him by his brother and heard drum & bass for the very first time, he was hooked. Intrigued by what he heard, Upgrade borrowed a version of Reason from a friend and from then on his main aim in life became clear; to make drum & bass music. He spent much of his time getting to grips with the software, attempting to replicate drum patterns he heard in his favourite tracks, before moving on to carving out his own unique sound.
Upgrade has released some of the hugest Drum & Bass anthems in recent years, with an intrinsic signature sound design that teases the low-end of any system! We're personally huge fans of his sound design here at LO:END, and can't wait to see this mastermind up close & personal!
*TRIGGA*
Trigga is responsible for some of the most iconic & memorable MC bars to ever hit Drum & Bass Records, and you've definitely vibed out to his rhymes a few times even if you didn't know it!
There’s no avoiding Trigga right now. Forever on the frontline as an MC, since splitting with the Shadow Demon Coalition, the Manchester veteran has been relentless in his output both live and on releases with drops on the likes of Souped Up, RUN and Liondub this year alone.
You may also recognize Trigga from the popular Netflix series Top Boy - where he performed as the dark underground figure Speaks!
Now time to level up once again as Trigga launched his new label No Joke Records. A brand new platform, in additional to regular releases on his SDR imprint, No Joke will drop weekly releases from the MC from here on in, making everything else he’s done in recent years seem like warming up.
