Tāmaki Makaurau five-piece MOUSSE are quickly earning a reputation as a best-loved new band with their energetic blend of soaring guitars, funk-fermented grooves and a high power stage show.
Having performed at multiple sold out shows in Auckland and Tairāwhiti Gisborne's Longline Classic, the up and comers have found a home on the stage. Now, their first show of 2023 at Karangahape Road's Anthology Lounge looks set to be a big one, debuting new music and coinciding with the release of their first singles Lady of Leisure and Let Me Free.
Opening are fellow Auckland up and comers Half Price Jugs, who similarly have built up a strong fan base including shows at the Coro Classic at Whitianga and more in Auckland.
To close the show, Rat Kingi is taking his house hops to the stage to close the night out with a boogie.
