In 2018 Ghanaian master musician Yaw Asumadu moved to NZ and has formed the new band Ozi Ozaa which is a 9 piece band packed full of funk & jazz with sweet highlife and traditional African rhythms led by Yaw . Ozi Ozaa has members who have previously played in Kiwi acts such as Batucada Sound Machine, Tahuna Breaks, The Scribes of Ra, Ijebu Pleasure Club and many others.
