Jared Smith is a familiar fixture on the Dunedin music scene. Smith has toured New Zealand and Australia extensively and has also recorded EPs and albums with various bands over the last 15 years.
Smith is now focusing on his own brand of folk/blues music and is also working on his second solo album tentatively titled 'Letting Go' which has an emphasis on instrumental and introspective acoustic and electric music. Smith experiments with open tunings of a selection of acoustic and electric guitars.
